Overview of the Micro-Program
Facing the arrival of the AI era, the Interdisciplinary Artificial Intelligence Center (IAIC), the College of Informatics, and our program collaboratively designed the “Interdisciplinary Micro-Program in Artificial Intelligence.” The micro-program was established to develop AI competency among NCCU students, enabling them to understand, identify, and apply AI, thus improving the AI competency of NCCU students across the board.
The micro-program consists of three levels of courses: basic, advanced, and applied. The basic and advanced courses are offered in the Fall semester of 2023, making it ideal for students who wish to explore the field of AI. For those who wish to pursue further studies in the AI program after taking these courses, a credit waiver can be applied. For details on the credit waiver process, please contact the AI program office.
Ø Launched in the Fall semester of 2023.
Ø Regular elective courses are open to all NCCU students.
Ø No application is necessary.
Ø Upon completion of the specified courses (three courses or nine credit hours), students can request a certificate of completion of the micro-program
